About Triple Therapy Sligo
As Sligo Acupuncture & Physiotherapy, this practice has been offering holistic care, rehabilitation & wellness to patients since 1989. You can trust that you are being treated by an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist who is also an Acupuncturist & Applied Kinesiologist
I established the practice in 1989 when I moved to Sligo from Dublin having worked in hospitals in London and Dublin. I graduated from TCD and am a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist & also registered with CORU.
I was awarded a Licentiate in Acupuncture in 1989, followed by a B.Ac. in 1993. In 2003 I was awarded a D.Phil from the University of Ulster. I have just completed my Diploma in Systematic Kinesiology in 2020. I continue to attend and participate in National and International conferences and keep up to date with current best practice.
STEP 1: LISTEN
Your service begins when I listen to your story and what YOU feel is going on for YOU from the very beginning. I work through a series of questions so that I can make an assessment and diagnosis.
STEP 2: ASSESS
From our conversation I will be able to make an assessment and discuss with you the wide variety of tools available for you to choose from. I will recommend what is the best course of treatment to rehabilitate YOU and get you feeling better.
STEP 3: TREATMENT
We will pick the treatment of physio, acupuncture, kinesiology or a combination of the three to treat your pain. I will give you a treatment in the practice and I will give you a home management plan to prevent the issue from returning. The evidence shows that those who carry out these plans do very well.
What do I treat?
Clients range from babies and children to the elderly, from sedentary to active sports men & women. I treat anyone who has pain or restricted movement in their body or who wants to have more energy in their being.
